With the SmartUCF module your customers buy in instalments with credit from UniCredit Consumer Financing (UCF), right from your online store.

  1. They see the monthly payment, the nominal rate (ГЛП) and the APR (ГПР) on the product page.
  2. They fill in a credit application on UCF's site.
  3. They sign the contract online.

The status of the application updates in the order automatically. Once the customer signs the contract, you attach the invoice from the order and UCF pays you the amount.

1. Contract with UCF

UCF signs a goods credit contract with you. Then UCF:

  • registers your store as an OTP (online trade partner). Each site is a separate OTP;
  • issues a username and password for the connection to SMART;
  • sets the online product codes (KOP) it finances your goods with, for example "POS CEL 103". Each code has its own financial table (interest per term and amount). Different conditions, such as 0%, are different codes.

2. What to send UCF

UCF sends you a form to register the OTP. Fill it in like this:

Field in the formWhat to enter
Name of the online trade partner (OTP)your store's name
Company namethe company that signs the contract with UCF
Store's tradeone of the trades in UCF's list, for example "Office equipment" or "Furniture"
Platform name and versionCloudCart. CloudCart is not in UCF's list, so type it in.
Process 1 or Process 2Process 1: the customer applies online on their own
SSL certificate (fingerprint/thumbprint)from Settings → Payments → SmartUCF, tab Settings, card "SmartUCF Fingerprint". It is the same for every CloudCart store.
Product catalogyour store's categories and subcategories, in UCF's Excel file. UCF uses it to decide which codes to issue to you.
LogoPNG, 160 px wide and 40 to 60 px high. It is shown on UCF's page where the customer applies.
E-mail for application statusesthe address for SMART's e-mails: application received, approved, refused, contract signed, paid out
Technical contactname and phone of someone on your team. For questions about the module they can contact CloudCart support.
URL after a successful applicationoptional, for example your store's address. CloudCart takes the customer back to their order by itself.
URL after an incorrect or refused applicationoptional, for example your store's cart page

3. Setting up CloudCart

Open Settings → Payments → SmartUCF.

  1. "Settings" tab. Enter the username and password from UCF. For the first tries choose Test mode.
  2. "Online product codes" tab. Click "Add codes from SMART". The list shows which codes SMART has for your store and with which terms, including the 0% terms.
  3. "Financing" tab. Choose the working mode:
    • Default code for every product: set the standard code and, if needed, a promotional code, with their terms and amounts;
    • Schemes by category and product: the code comes from the category or the product (step 4).

    Here you also choose:

    • whether to offer promotional financing;
    • whether customers may enter a down payment;
    • the 0% label on product images;
    • how customers apply: through the cart, with a quick application from the product, or both;
    • the look of the calculator in your store: a table with every term, or UCF's layout with one term at a time;
    • a UCF banner over the calculator (optional, for your trade).

    Click "Check with SMART and save". The settings are saved only when SMART confirms the codes and terms.

  4. "Standard schemes" and "Promotional schemes" tabs (only in scheme mode). With "Add scheme", set for each category or product:
    • the code;
    • the terms;
    • the amount range;
    • the validity period.

    Changes are saved in three steps: "Apply", then "Review changes", and finally "Confirm and check with SMART". If something does not match UCF's setup, nothing is saved and the rows with a problem are marked.

  5. Turn the payment method on with the "Enable" button.

If you already use SmartUCF with category mapping or promotions: the "Financing", "Online product codes" and scheme tabs show a message to convert your current setup. Click "Convert to schemes". Customers keep seeing the same offers, and the old pages stay available until you convert.

4. Test

  1. In Test mode, place an order with "Buy on instalments".
  2. You are taken to UCF's test site.
  3. Complete the application. Its status shows in the order, in the "UniCredit Consumer Financing" card.
  4. When everything works, switch to Live mode.

5. Day to day

  • Status. The application is followed automatically until a final status: approved, contract signed, refused or expired. The "Refresh status" button in the order checks it straight away. If UCF refuses the application, the reason is written to the order's history.
  • Invoice. After the customer signs the contract, enter the invoice number in the order's card and attach the file (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 2 MB). If the down payment was invoiced separately, attach that one too. Send it to UCF: UCF then pays the amount.
  • Do not change the order after the application was sent (products, delivery, discounts): the order and the invoice must match the credit contract.
  • Cancelling. Cancelling the order in CloudCart does not withdraw the credit application. If the goods are not available, tell the customer and set the application's status to "Refused by customer" in SmartUCF.

6. Support

If something is wrong with the module, write to CloudCart support with:

  • your store's name and ID;
  • a contact e-mail and phone;
  • a description of the problem.
