Sales by Traffic Source

This metric visualizes data* for the total order amount based on the type of traffic source from customers who purchased in your online store during a given period. You can specify a specific period and compare it with the previous period/year.

*The data is visualized based on the order statuses in the "Settings" section.

The list includes the top 5 traffic sources that generated the highest revenue in sales. Information is provided for each source in terms of percentage, the ratio of desktop and mobile users who made purchases, and data on the total number of orders. If you hover over a specific item, you will also see the total number of orders made through it (desktop or mobile).

You can click directly on each source to obtain additional information. You will find information about the following:

  • Visits to your online store from that source
  • The number of orders created by customers who visited the store from that specific source
  • The conversion rate (percentage of visits that led to an order out of the total number of visits)
  • The total revenue is the sum of all orders from that traffic source.

Additional options (filters) allow you to choose data comparison and the desired time period for visualization, such as hourly, daily, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can export the data you see using the button in the screen's upper right corner.

You can specify a specific period for visualizing the top sources from which visitors came to your online store and generated revenue, and choose from three options - no comparison, comparison with the previous period, or comparison with the previous year.

You will receive information about the sources based on the device, listed in ascending order with their names and an overview of the sessions, the orders created by customers from each source, the conversion rate (the percentage of visits that led to an order out of the total number of visits), and the total revenue as the sum of all orders made by customers for that type of source.

When selecting a specific source, you will obtain detailed information with the same metrics but for the chosen period of time - hourly, daily, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You will also have the option to choose a comparison.
